Dean St. Block Assoc. Meeting Monday, May 17, 7:30-9pm

The block association’s clean-up and beautification day April 17th was a big success. Over the course of the day around twenty five people of all ages swept the streets, planted flowers in the street tree beds, distributed mulch around the playground trees, and constructed wooden street tree guards. No doubt you have seen some of the changes as you have walked through the neighborhood.

There is still more work to do. Window boxes and planters will be distributed following May 15th. A few more tree guards will go in place soon. And keep watering the tree beds and trees — spring has been a lot drier than anticipated. New trees like 10 gallons of water a week!

As our neighborhood changes, our block association is committed to making it cleaner, safer, greener and more liveable.
